Prophetess Lawanda D. Middleton was born May 17, 1966 in Folkston, Georgia, and has been a resident of Connecticut since 1968. Prophetess Middleton graduated from the New Haven School system in 1984 from James Hillhouse High School. The Lord has allowed Prophetess Middleton to hold several leadership and supervisory positions throughout her life  without a college education within her employment career and the church.

 

As a child Prophetess Middleton attended Holy Ghost Deliverance Church in New Haven, Connecticut under the leadership of Bishop Lonnie Gorham, where she was active in the Choir and Youth Department. At the age of Eighteen Prophetess Middleton began running from the Lord, but after many attacks and failures her running came to an end.  In 1993, she returned to God and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was then filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost.

In 1993, Prophetess Middleton married the love of her life, Robert L. Middleton, Jr. of New Haven, CT. They have been married for over 20 years and have 4 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren.  After her union to Robert Middleton she began to attend Rehoboth COGIC in Bridgeport, Connecticut under the leadership of then, Pastor Augustus D. Pullen. There she served in many capacities: Usher, Sunday School Teacher, Sunshine Band, Choir, and State Chairlady for the Youth Department in 1st Jurisdiction under Bishop C.H. Brewer, Jr.

In 1996, Prophetess Middleton was called into ministry and served as a missionary for eight years.  In 2003 after 11 years of faithful service to Rehoboth COGIC, the Lord called then, Elder Robert Middleton and Evangelist Middleton to begin New Beginnings Ministers, Inc., now currently located in Hamden, Connecticut, where she serves in various positions. In 2012, Prophetess Middleton birth the "For Ladies Only" Fellowship (AKA FLO), which a spiritual catalyst for breaking down unnecessary familiarity that have kept women from appreciating one another's talents and uniqueness in the Kingdom of God. In 2014, Prophetess Middleton was installed as the Pastor of the New Beginnings Saturday Night Live Worship FLO congregation.

In addition to her responsibilities at New Beginnings, Prophetess Middleton also serves as the National Elect Lady of Women for the United Council of Independent Christian Churches Inc., Connecticut Region, under Presiding Bishop Laurence V. Plummer, Sr.

Prophetess Middleton is also an entrepreneur. In 2011, she launched  Glory Care, all natural hair and skin care products, based on 1 Corinthians 6:20 "for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body".

Prophetess Middleton is a bondservant of the Lord's.  One, who has been called by the Lord to minister a message of deliverance to those who have been hurt, abused and left to die, especially women. Prophetess Middleton has conducted many women's conferences in Connecticut and New York, and has ministered as far as Maui Hawaii. The Lord has blessed Evangelist Middleton with the revelatory gift of prophesy and interpretation of dreams which has and is a dominating force in her ministry.  Prophetess Middleton is best described as "A true woman of God with a right now word for a last day people.
